Want to get away for a fun weekend?  Interested in trying unique and creative cuisine?  How about a unique local event sure to create lifelong memories?  Or, looking for the perfect place for outdoor activities?  Look no further.  Findlay has everything you're looking for.

Historic Downtown

The Historic Downtown area of Findlay is a beautiful section of Hancock County you won’t want to miss. You can find almost anything to do whether you’re interested in food, shopping or entertainment. Some of the best local dishes are served downtown, ranging from Asian to Italian, to American and beyond (see Revolver Restaurant, below).  Or, if shopping is on your agenda, the Downtown area is peppered with unique boutique shops to satisfy all kinds of retail finds.  The Downtown Findlay area also features a full service hotel, The Findlay Inn & Conference Center, and a selection of live entertainment venues.  A selection of some favorite Downtown destinations can be found in our Downtown Proud walking itinerary.

Red Hawk Golf
Red Hawk Golf
Red Hawk Run, an 18 hole course, features Bentgrass tees for faster plays, fairways, target greens framed by sand bunkers and greens built specifically to provide excellence in golf.  Anyone who loves golf can have fun here! If the beautiful and challenging landscape isn’t enough, how about the numerous awards this facility has won? For several years Golf Digest has awarded Red Hawk Run Golf Course four and a half stars, the only course to receive that high a rating in Northwest Ohio. And in 2005 out of 150 courses in the nation under $50, Red Hawk received 18th. If you’re still not convinced of what an outstanding course this is, come check it out for yourself.
