Rock Hall of Fame & Museum

Some people have worked their whole lives to get here.
You’re just a short trip away.

From the R&B roots to arena rock, from Doo Wop to Hip Hop, rock and roll is the music that changed our lives. No other art form has the impact of rock music. It started revolutions. It elected world leaders. It defines our times. It touches our souls.

Like the music it celebrates, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is alive with the energy, passion and spirit of music.

The 150,000 square-foot museum features seven floors, four theaters for films, special events and free public programs and ever-changing exhibits.  You can spend eight hours here, or two days (and yes, a two-day pass is available).

The Experience is unlike anything else.

General Museum Information
Hours (subject to change)
Open 7 days a week
Open until 9pm on Wednesdays
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
Summer Hours (Memorial Day-Labor Day)
Open daily 10am-5:30pm
Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-9pm

SPECIAL EXHIBITS include many never-before seen rock and roll artifacts. Exhibits take you through the evolution and history of rock, from the early influences and from one-hit wonders to legendary inductees and today’s latest hits. This may be a museum in the traditional sense, but it’s not traditional. From the adventurous architecture and eye-popping displays to the soundtrack of continuously streaming rock and roll hits, this is one cultural experience that gets your heart beating and your fists pumping.

There is always a full calendar of exciting events and while you are here, it’s likely you’ll experience a special performance, guest lecture or outdoor concert.

“This Place is the Center of the Universe”– Robert Plant

The walls are made of glass, but this Place is made of ROCK!
